Animal rights.

Animal rights is also referred as animal liberation. In Malaysia the government does not ensure that the animals as priorities like other first world country like the United States or Europe. Animal and humans also have rights. The idea of awarding rights to animal has the full support from scholars such as Alan Dersherwitz and Laurence Tribe of Harvard Law School. Animal law is taught 113 out of 180 law schools in the United States and that proves that animal have special rights in this world. In my own perception I think that animals should have a special rights and if someone were to abuse an animal they should be punished according to the country's law.

In June 2008, Spain became the first country to introduce an animal rights resolutions. The reason behind the animal rights resolutions stood up because of a parliamentary committee voted for a non-human / primates to have their own rights and the idea is inspired by Peter Singer's Great Ape Project.

In the picture on the left shows that protester are standing up for animal rights.
